As a Licensed General Contractor I am often hired by lenders, title companies because they trust a General Contractor over a Home Inspector because I am licensed with the State of California. But often I am hired by upset clients who were unhappy with there previous home inspection on missing many issues. Below are two reports that reflect. I think it is important as a home inspector to post the reports that have the worst reviews. We can always be proud of the five star reports but what do we really learn? I have decided to post the two inspection reports I got my two worst reviews on. Do I believe I deserved the rating no but you be the judge.
Below is the report prepared for "KJ" 6 months BEFORE his Google 1-star review, we had no communication at all for six months. Only the day after the inspection in August and my 1-star Google Review was in February. I also circled on the report everything that needed to be done immediately. None of us are perfect but with this report and two videos I did the best I could do on that property.
